Survival Skills for Healthy Families curriculum is taught in six 2-hour sessions one day a week over a six week period. Format is flexible to meet the needs of the families and individuals served.
Thanks to the kindness, no judgement and help I received, I am alive and on my feet. I have a long way to go, but I'm not giving up.
When family refused to let me stay I had no where to go. Thankfully I found this organization and they gave me a temporary place to stay. With their help I was able to find and apply for jobs. I was hired at two and was able to get my own place.
I moved here from another state to start over This organization helped me with a resume and job resources as well as giving me a place to stay. I have found a good job and am currently saving money to get an affordable apartment. I would have been on the street now I am on my way to becoming self sufficient.
